I'm Ylenia, I was born and raised in one of Spain's fortunate islands, Gran Canaria. I've always been a lover of storytelling. Since I was little I got used to writing stories, and as I got older I started to turn them into something more visual, until I realised what I'm passionate about: filmmaking.
At the age of 20, I moved to London and began my professional career as a filmmaker, studying Film and TV Production. I have edited music videos, short films, podcasts, and documentaries. And I'm starting to produce and direct my own films.

My work reflects my love of details and the little things.
I cherish the moment when all of the recordings, shot lists, and preparation come together in a singular film with a story worth to tell.
Finally, editors are the last person who writes the story.
Since 2021, I've worked on a variety of projects, taking various roles that have enriched my path as an editor and filmmaker.
